Fetal Alcohol Syndrome (FAS), Fetal Alcohol Effects
(FAE), Alcohol Related Neurodevelopmental Disorders (ARND),
Static Encephalopathy (alcohol exposed) (SE) or Alcohol
Related Birth Defects (ARBD) are all names for a spectrum
of disorders caused when a pregnant woman consumes alcohol.
FASlink provides online information, support and resources
for families (biological, foster and adoptive), professionals
and students. FASlink is not only an educational resource
but also a lifeline to hundreds of families who are raising
and caring for affected children and adults. FASlink is
now the largest FASD information resource in the world.
The FASlink Archives online contain more than 100,000 letters
and articles on FAS issues. FASlink's online discussion
forum reaches across Canada and internationally. FASlink
serves more than 400,000 visitors to its website annually.
Your ongoing support for FASlink is critical to its survival.
We do not receive sustainable funding from any level of
government, only occasional project grants. Until very recently,
over 90% of FASlink's funding has come from a small group
of FASlink members.
We are deeply greatful to the above donors to FASlink.
Their generous gifts help keep this critical resource available
to the world. To add your donation by credit card, please
